second release on the label featuring a full colour sleeve, this one is also a bit special (but i might say that every time)
The idea behind this release came from Laurent Collat also known as Elegia wh had this track available that was not going to be released on F Communication where he was releasing all of his stuff at that time.
Laurent was also a member of the Housemuziq list at that time (so were Ludo Llorca, Jori Hulkkonen or Alexkid, all signed to Laurent Garnier's label) and when he made me listen to this track i said banco !
So no surprise, the full ep is like a F Com's dissidents reunion at an after hour and reunite Llorca & Hulkkonen on the remix tips.
Overall this release is representative of the friendship we had in music and is typical of what Brique Rouge is all about : musical exchanges, collabs and pushing the boundaries of freshness !

I used to visit all the very gay places
Those come-what-may places
Where one relaxes on the axis of the wheel of life
To get the feel of life
Through jazz and cocktails
The girls there all had sad and sullen gray faces
With distant gay traces
That used to be there; you could see where they'd been washed away
By too many through the day
Twelve o' clock tales
Then you came along with your siren song
To tempt me to madness
I thought for awhile that your poignant smile
Was tinged with the sadness
Of a great love for me
But, oh I was wrong
Again I was wrong
